Our Story
It all began over 10 years ago, when David founded Wellenkind with a clear goal: to share the essence of surfing in its purest form. What started as a small project in Fuerteventura grew into a surf school with soul, where technique, fun, and a deep connection to the ocean go hand in hand.
Today, Rolf and Steffi continue his legacy, staying true to the values that made Wellenkind a special place: high-quality instruction, professionalism, and an atmosphere where every student feels at home. Here, you don’t just learn to surf – you live the ocean.

Top-level surf school. I’ve had a total of 8 surf lessons there and each one was truly enjoyable. The surf spot is a fantastic sandy beach, you can rent wetsuits in all sizes, the surf instructors teach really well – especially Rolf – and transport to the surf school is included in the price.
